This is a concept drawing for a anti-smoking ad. the smoker starts to body slam his cigarette until it escalates to the point where he tag teams a real masked wrestler to finish off the job. Its a great idea from the minds of Alex and Tristan (who appear no where on the internet) The concept of "escalation" is a common theme with these two sometimes cartoonish personalities.... actually, stay tuned...

Shipwreck@ Wellfleet, MA

On Jan 28 of this year, a nasty storm washed ashore this shipwreck of a late 19th century schooner. Amy, Travis, Zephyr and myself went to check it out. It feels like metaphor of what happening inside of me these days. Something old and already forgotten has been churned up by powerful forces and revealed and relocated in plain view for all to see. broken and beautiful.

Running off somewhere

It's February. It seems that no matter where I live, when the shortest month of the years rolls in, I always feel like rolling out. far. In a 3-hour-drive-induced-self-analysis session from the Cape to Northampton, I couldn't figure out why this seems to be a pattern for me. Last February I was living in LA finishing a job, when I suddenly decided to pack up and head back east and start again in NYC. I ended up in Western Mass instead. A year before that I was in Vancouver. Loved it there. But I became relentlessly restless with the program I was in and dropped out with only a month to go. kind of REALLY impulsive. Before that I was in NYC for a couple of months. Before that- Vancouver. Loved it there then too. Before that- Somerville, MA. Before that, on Cape, and before that- Western MA.
2003 to 2008.
February! Now I'm back in Western Mass- sort of where I started- and I want to take off- again! where? don't know. far or near. big or small. high or low. It feels as if I'm embarking on an voyage decision making time.
and this weekend I began it by heading to the coast of Cape Cod.
